VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) is a cooperative strategy in which, with the aim of obtaining lowest costs by the buyer and the supplier, the supplier undertakes the responsibility for managing the inventory and keeping a close eye on the execution of the agreement and adjusting the demand and supply gaps accordingly so as to improve inventory management in a timely manner. Modern supply chain involved in the daily operation of the VMI project includes: trunk transportation of materials in supplier's factory, storage management, system management, purchasing order, modular distribution of materials, redundant material return, material quality monitoring, inventory shortage warning, procurement demand forecast, intelligent warehouse operation (visualized future) and so on. At the end of 2017, Orient INT’L Logistics Holding (Group) Co., Ltd successfully obtained the execution rights of VMI project. As the execution center for VMI (VMI HUB), Orient INT’L Logistics Holding (Group) Co., Ltd will participate in the whole process and provide services.
