The information and communication technology industry drives the development of Hungary’s economy, and the industry ranks fifth in the EU, surpassing most EU countries. In addition, the industry is making great efforts to develop SMEs, which provide 80-90% of its suppliers.
Hungary is a centre for information technology R&D, with a large number of local professionals who not only charge reasonable prices but also have a special understanding of the industry. There are several R&D centers in Hungary, focusing on developing applications and systems that serve both domestic companies and foreign clients.
