The following two stories are proof of this corporate culture. On March 11, 2011, Japan was hit by a tsunami that engulfed and destroyed everything. It was undoubtedly a heavy shock to a company that has a good long-term relationship with Japanese companies. When the disaster happened, the first thing OHS’s leaders concerned about was the safety of its employees. They felt relieved after learning that the employees in Japan were safe and sound, then they arranged personnel to comfort families of those employees. Only by working hard will you make yourself better. After 2010, OHS developed rapidly and set up the Nantong branch. However, in 2015, the exchange rate of the yen began to drop sharply, with a maximum decline of 30% for several years in a row. With the depreciation of the yen, OHS's net profit shrank directly, which was a serious problem for a fast-growing company. The leaders quickly held several meetings to discuss solutions. They finally decided to set up a branch in Japan, which undertook several large projects, rapidly expanding OHS's market in Japan and improving its core competitiveness. Although the yen depreciated, OHS's cohesiveness was improved. OHS has not only made up for the loss brought by the exchange rate depreciation, but also taken a big step forward.
