Established in June 1994, Shanghai Newtouch Software Co., Ltd. (“Newtouch”) is headquartered in Shanghai and aims to provide service to clients around the world. The company has branches and regional subsidiaries in nine cities, including Beijing, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Tokyo. After years’ development, it has grown into a large-scale company with more than 5,000 employees.
Since 2017, upholding the development concept of “Newtouch Cloud Creates Future with Innovation”, the Company has shifted its business focus from traditional code services to cloud computing. Based on Newtouch Cloud and years’ industry operation experience, the Company, by realizing its cloud computing business in such vertical industries as finance, health care, agriculture, park management, and enterprise services, has developed Newtouch Finance Cloud, Newtouch Enterprise Cloud and Newtouch Medical Could. At the same time, three laboratories, namely, the Blockchain Laboratory, the Big Data Laboratory and the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (BBA) were also established. The Big Data Laboratory consists of internal and external top-notch big data talents and focuses on researches and follow-ups of big data technologies; the Blockchain Laboratory applies products to various industries and it also launches different industry products to facilitate subsequent communication and users’ real-time experience in the application of blockchain to different scenarios; the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory studies artificial intelligence (AI) innovations under different financial scenarios with cutting-edge AI technologies and years’ business experience in the finance industry.
Continuous innovation ensures sustainable development. After over two decades’ development, Newtouch has been recognized by many domestic and overseas well-known companies, such as Bank of China and Toyota. In December 2018, Newtouch passed the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 again, representing its strong capabilities in software design and development, project management and providing high-quality products for its users. In addition, Newtouch was honorably selected as a Pivotal Software Enterprise within National Planning Layout, a Trial Enterprise of China Offshore Software Engineering Project, and a Recognized Enterprise Technology Center in Shanghai as well as other qualifications granted by governments and institutions.
In November 2018, Newtouch announced its strategic objective of “Five Billion RMB Plan”. To achieve this objective, Newtouch will rationally use its international strategic advantages of domestic branches and the subsidiary in Tokyo, continue to press forward with indomitable will and innovative spirits, so as to level up the Company’s development strategy to break new ground.
