As a representative of Shanghai Internet companies, Hujiang has won the title of “Shanghai Excellent Website” four times, a title recognized by the Shanghai Municipal Government and the highest honor of Shanghai’s websites. Fu Cairui, founder and CEO of Hujiang, was awarded the 18th Shanghai Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons, Shanghai Youth May Fourth Medal, Shanghai Leading Talents, Shanghai Smart City Construction Pioneers and other honorary titles. Hujiang has always insisted on changing the imbalance of educational resources with the Internet to promote the fair development of education. In 2015, Hujiang initiated an educational public welfare project called Internet + Program to support small schools in remote areas, hoping to transform traditional education through Internet learning. In 2016, the Internet + Program was successfully selected for the list of the “Double-Hundred” Internet-based poverty relief projects of Internet information companies released by the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), marking that it had become a consensus that Internet-based efforts should be made to alleviate poverty nationwide through education. In 2018, the Internet + Program was awarded the 2017 Network Public Welfare Innovation Award granted by the CAC, making Hujiang the only Internet education company in China to win the award.

As to the name of Hujiang, “Hu” is short for Shanghai, a leading international metropolis in China, where the company was established and has been developing, while “Jiang” refers to the Yellow and Yangtze rivers, representing China and indicating that the company serves learners nationwide with its influence reaching the whole country and even the world. Like the seas embracing all rivers, Hujiang provides all users with a platform where they can find suitable learning methods.
