In 2014, the Happy Ocean theme area opened, turning the park from “Happy Valley for Young People” to “Happy Valley for All”. In 2015, a new theme area of Typhoon Bay was launched. In 2016, the large-scale cross-media water spectacle called the “Lake of Illusions” was premiered. In the same year, the “Magic Water City” in Playa Maya was officially upgraded and opened. In 2018, the Spanish-style Gleetour Hotel is about to start trial operation... Shanghai Happy Valley has gradually become a tourist resort in eastern China with a “theme park + theme hotel + cultural performance” model.
