In 2001, Acme Biopharma was established in Silicon Valley, San Francisco. With support of the US technical team, the company has reached a certain scale through ten years of development. Currently, it has 150 employees, a 6,500m2 R&D laboratory and advanced analytical and examining instruments, such as NMR, LCMS and HPLC providing R&D services such as drug discovery and preclinical CMC process research. In addition, the company has established a cooperative factory in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, providing customized pharmaceutical intermediates. With close cooperation between Chinese and American scientists, Acme Biopharma has achieved remarkable results in the fields of antibiotics, hepatitis, AIDS and Alzheimer's disease.
Since its establishment, Acme Biopharma, with strong technical strengths, has received government funds several times.
