Eurasian Promotion Conference on Trade in Service to be Held During CIIE

This event is the largest services trade promotion activity to be held during the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE), covering a wide range of areas with the largest concentration of overseas resources. During the event, government officials, representatives of business associations and well-known companies from Eurasian countries including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Norway and Singapore will have an extensive and in-depth exchange of views on such topics as new opportunities, business modes and types of services trade brought by the Belt and Road Initiative.

       Activities to be held during the event include project introduction, roadshows, signing of contracts, and roundtable dialogues. The project introduction will be devoted to announcing a negative list of cross-border services trade in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone as well as the latest policies on services trade. Shanghai Global Promotion Alliance for Service Trade will launch an initiative titled “Join Hands to Promote Services Trade”. Roadshows will focus on outstanding domestic and overseas projects in areas like tourism, culture, education, and cross-border e-commerce. Domestic and foreign services trade companies and promotion organizations will be organized to sign contracts. Roundtable dialogues will center on the theme of “improving professional services and promoting imports of high-end services”.

Political and business leaders and representatives from more than ten countries including Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Poland, Norway and Singapore will take part in the event and help to promote pragmatic cooperation in services trade among countries along the Belt and the Road.
